The purpose of this blog is twofold.
The first is to (hopefully) encourage young ladies in their walks with the Lord and in their calling as women of God.
And the second is simple because I like to talk, and this is just another way for me to do that. ;) Just kidding...maybe...
What this blog is NOT for is to puff up my spiritual ego. I am a sinner. And I don't use that term lightly. I mess up more than I get right. And when I write about being a godly woman, this does NOT mean that I have mastered whatever it is I am writing about! Far from it. This is the reason that I have been so hesitant in the past to write a blog like this. I felt like I was being a hypocrite. But I want you girls to know that I am writing from a heart of love and encouragement and humility. And as I write every single post, I am learning the same lessons that you are. I want to be changed by God's Word, and be a godly woman. Through this blog I am simply hoping to "spur one another to love and good deeds." (Heb. 10:24)
I am writing to young, unmarried women. Not that I do not want married women or even guys to read this blog. But it is not my place to teach and admonish women who are older and wiser than I am. And who have reached a place in life that I know nothing about. And to any male viewers I may have, your insights on biblical womanhood from a guys perspective is always welcomed!
